Welcome to the San Joaquin Dental Society
The San Joaquin Dental Society (SJDS) is a local component of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA). SJDS is comprised of area dentists dedicated to serving both the public and the profession of dentistry. SJDS represents dentists in San Joaquin, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, as well as the city of Galt.

Established in 2020, the 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity arm of the San Joaquin Dental Society was founded by dentists in the San Joaquin County area to provide funding for dental health education and dental health programs in our community. The golf tournament is the main fundraiser of the Foundation with proceeds benefiting the SJDS Give-Kids-a-Smile day.
In the last few years, the Give-Kids-a-Smile event has been able to provide over $100,000 worth of pro-bono dentistry to over 100 kids in San Joaquin County that were either uninsured or underinsured – all with the help of the funds raised from the golf tournament!
